ARCTIC
LOOSE FILL
Econocel cellulose loose-fill insulation is specially designed to be pneumatically installed in attic areas, under  floors and wall cavities to assist in controlling the high cost of heating and cooling, as well as aiding noise control. Econocel insulation is non-toxic and contains no asbestos or glass fiber.  Constant quality control testing in our plant gives assurance of fire safety and a product worthy of public acceptance.
Econocel’s fire retardant chemicals coat the cellulose fiber and provide the proven resistance to heat and flame. This formula does not deteriorate with age. Every bag carries the Underwriters Laboratory classification mark. Econocel loose-fill insulation may be installed with most equipment designed to handle cellulose insulation and can be blown over other old insulators to meet new R-factor requirements.
Pinnacle Industries manufactures loose-fill insulation from a combination of recycled waste paper and fire retardant chemicals blended to produce a superior insulating material of the highest standard. This lightweight material maintains its thickness and insulating value with little tendency to settle. It is non-irritating, east to install and does not make you itch or scratch.

FEATURES:
Lightweight easy to handle.
Does not itch or scratch.
Does not contain asbestos, glass or mineral fibers.
Will not attract insects or rodents.
East to Install – blown in place (Eliminates cutting, fitting and stapling.)
Can be blown into existing wall cavities, under  floor areas or overhead attics easily and efficiently.
Saves energy – heating and cooling.
Absorbs sound – helps to reduce sound transmitted through walls and ceilings.
High thermal control R-Value 3.7 per inch at 75oF
Constant in- plant testing assures quality control.
Chemically coated fibers resist flame and will not deteriorate.
All sound absorption and thermal value tests are done by accredited testing laboratories and are documented.

WHAT IS CELLULOSE INSULATION?
HOW DOES CELLULOSE INSULATION COMPARE?
Other standard insulation products, fiberglass, vermiculite or rock wool, are derived from mineral materials, like stone. Cellulose insulation is composed of natural fibers, like cotton. Correspondingly, cellulose has the highest per inch R-Value, 3.7 of any of the common home insulating materials you can buy.
Here is a comparative chart:
COMPARATIVE R-VALUES                    PER INCH
ECONOCEL cellulose Fiber (Blown)         3.7
Fiberglass (Batts/Rolls)                             3.2
Rock Wool (Batts/Rolls)                            3.2
Rock Wool (Blown)                                    2.9
Fiberglass (Blown                                       2.2

CELLULOSE BY ECONOCEL
WHAT IS ECONOCEL INSULATION?
Econocel is the make of cellulose of wood fibers that have been reprocessed and chemically treated to be used as loose fill thermal insulation. The material is non- toxic, odorless and non- irritating to the touch. Because the material is basically recycled paper, it does not deplete natural resources. In the manufacturing process, Econocel uses far less energy to produce than mineral insulation.

IS ALL CELLULOSE INSULATION THE SAME?
No. Cellulose manufactured under the Econocel label must measure up to the rigid standards such as: Federal Specification HH-1-5150, American Society of Testing Material Standards and Consumer Product Safety Commission.

CAN ECONOCEL INSULATION CORRODE METAL PIPES, WIRING OR BEAMS?
No, Econocel meets Federal Specification HH-1-515D which mandates that products must be non-corrosive.

RELATIVE R-VALUES OF LEADING INSULATION MATERIALS
The chart below demonstrates the difference in insulation ability of the leading materials for one inch of blown-in or loose fill insulation – correctly installed Econocel should remain an effective thermal barrier.  See the chart below that demonstrates the superiority of cellulose as an insulation material.
Econocel classifications with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc is listed below:

Project: Install or Upgrade Blown-In Insulation
"We initially started looking to have this work done because our girl's room was very cold at night - much colder than any other room in the house. It was from there that we discovered that the whole lower level of our home, built in the 40's, was not insulated. Bob and his crew came and were very professional and did a great job. The work was thorough and they were able to reach places that other companies said they couldn't access. We noticed the difference in the temperature that night and have the added bonus of some sound insulation as well. The price was right and we have no complaints."

A PROPERLY INSULATED HOME WILL SAVE 30-50% OF YOUR ENERGY COST.
